"I bought this book because the author was interviewed on our local radio station, and as my daughter had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and just started her treatment,I felt it necessary to read it.I'm delighted that I did...
My daughter lives in Australia, so through Skype and emails I was able to tell her all the wonderful useful tips that Katherine Formosa Brown had written about in her book, It also helped me to understand what she was possibly going through, so when I spoke to her it made me feel a lot closer to her, I was possibly helping her in some small way.she is now on the road to recovery. The book is easy to read and understand, and the lay out is good. I would definitely recommend this book"
"A great short read that's both personable and factual. The author clearly has a down to earth, feet on the ground, no bulls**t approach which I imagine is very welcome and appreciated at the onset of breast cancer"
"I particularly enjoyed the references to the inspirations of hers and would be keen to know more as I'm sure others would. Sometimes theres great comfort being reminded that although the journey you are facing is your own many others have also travelled it and this brings hope"
"Having been recently diagnosed and just through my surgery this book is excellent as a guide to what might happen and explains things clearly in non-medical lingo. Absolutely everyone's diagnosis and needs are individual but this is a really helpful account"
"All in all a useful pragmatic approach to those caring for their loved ones who may be at various stages of their breast cancer journey"
"I already have 2 people I'm going to recommend buying this book to support their friends who are in breast cancer treatment right now!"
"Great little read!"
"A brilliantly written, entertaining, informative and emotionally driven book"
